Afin de briser le sentiment d'isolement que faire de la musique électronique en solo pout amener, Nico Video a voulu sortir de son studio lors de la composition. La majorité des pièces ont donc été créées dans un de ses endroits préférés à Montréal: Le Atomic Café! "C'était un peu gênant de s'installer à une table avec ses écouteurs et une machine analogue, mais il était hors de question de composer avec un laptop; il y a suffisamment d'écran dans une journée!".
